- Click on the ‘Connect to Server’ option.
- Ensure that a ‘Connect to Server’ pop-up window appears.
- Enter the IP address of the machine as smb://192.168.x.x. (This IP address is an example please add the proper IP while connecting to your machine.)
- Now click on ‘Connect’ button.
Connecting status appears on the screen followed by a window asking you to enter the credentials to log in to the remote machine.
Enter the credentials such as username and password and click on ‘Connect’ button to continue connecting to the remote machine or to cancel the connection click on ‘Cancel’ button. This is how you can take the remote desktop connection on a Mac machine.
