Enable/ Disable SMS or message preview on iPhone or iPad cellular:
In general, we can view the message preview on lock screen or home screen. Sometimes, you may get personal or official messages which should not be revealed to others for example messages containing bank transaction info, messages containing passwords, WhatsApp messages or any other private info related messages etc. If you are in a gathering and your device may be in the hand of others. What is the case if they see the message preview? How to hide it? The solution for this problem is shown below.
In order to disable message or SMS preview on your device, go to Settings and tap on Notifications disclosure icon. From the Notifications tab, choose Messages and tap on the disclosure icon. Under the Messages tab, you can find out Show Preview toggle button. Now, turn off the Show Preview toggle button to disable SMS or message preview on your iOS cellular device. This is how you can hide the notifications from unauthorized view.
What is the case if you want to enable SMS or message preview on home screen? It’s simple, if you to enable the messages preview again, you can go to Settings tab, by following the above procedure and turn on the Show Preview toggle button. So that you get back your message preview notifications.
